Richard J. Wyzykowski, M.D.
Doctor Wyzykowski began practicing orthopedic surgery in 2000. After
earning his medical degree from the University of California School
of Medicine in Los Angeles, he completed his residency at Case
Western Reserve University, University Hospitals of Cleveland before
beginning a challenging fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity at
Harvard University, Brigham & Women’s Hospital. This specialized
training gave him the experience necessary to expertly treat upper
extremity conditions including joint replacement and open and
arthroscopic reconstruction of the hand, elbow, wrist, and shoulder.
Dr. Wyzykowski combines advanced skill with sincerity to deliver the
complete package in orthopedic upper extremity care. Vastly
knowledgeable and detail-oriented, he skillfully treats patients of
all ages with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, overuse
syndromes such as tendonitis and tennis elbow, nerve problems such
as carpal tunnel syndrome, sports injuries including biceps tendon
ruptures, rotator cuff tears, and dislocations, traumatic injuries
such as fractures, tendon lacerations, and ruptures, ligament
injuries, and post-traumatic deformities. Patients appreciate his
approachable bedside manner, and have come to rely on his
communicative nature when diagnosing and treating their conditions.
Dr. Wyzykowski currently practices orthopedic medicine with a
special interest in upper extremity problems including the shoulder,
elbow, wrist, and hand at Muir Orthopaedic Specialists. Committed to
providing the very best of care, he makes ongoing education a
priority and works to help patients understand not only their
particular problems but also other orthopedic topics, as well.
